This variety is grown in the Oaxaca region of Mexico near the border of Guatemala, so this coffee shares a lot of it's characteristics with Central American coffees. This is a medium roast, but closer to a light roast as compared to our other medium roasts. This allowed for more of the coffee's uniqueness to shine through. There are tastes of baker's chocolate, pear, and cashew with a mild citrus flavor from this variety's mild acidity.
