Due to the high elevation and volcanic soil of the westernmost region of Sumatra where this variety is grown, this coffee is low in acidity and full of richer flavors that are brought out in medium and dark roasts. This coffee features an earthy, rich flavor with a bold flavor profile that is heavy on the palate. This medium roast version brings out a cedar flavor with hints of chocolate.
